The 23rd annual salt shaker convention was held on Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Sauder Heritage Inn in Archbold, Ohio. The Convention was Co-chaired by Rick and Charlene Hess. It was not their first time and it showed that practice makes perfect. A great time was had by all. The host Inn had everything ready with no apparent glitches, but of course we have to thank our hosts for a well-planned convention making it easier to accommodate us.

Early Bird members were treated to an open house at the hosts' Estate with a tour of their wonderful collection. Thursday evening started the convention with the get-acquainted dessert evening and show and tell. Friday morning started with a field trip to Toledo's new Glass Pavillion at the Museum of Art.

Events throughout the convention consisted of the auction, the shaker identification project, the annual business meeting, room hopping, and member display, followed by the annual banquet with keynote speaker Mark Matthews. Please scroll through the following display pictures.
