Centennial Christmas Salt

Date: June 13, 1876.
Size: 2-1/8" tall (3" with original top); 1-1/2" wide.
Desc: Barrel shape with ring neck. Unique because of agitator and patent date on top. Agitator is a blade which crushes the salt when the extension on the top is pushed down. Salt can only come out when top is depressed, and is sealed by a gasket when top is up.
Colors Known: Opaque white.
Decoration: Gray stain with HP brown band encircling.
