Special Comments: Submitter cited as a reference W. Cohen, Wave Crest, The Glass of C.F. Monroe. However, although many shakers are shown in that text, none have a primary bulbous shape and there was no decorations involving Palmer Cox Brownies. However, Lechner shows several shakers, made by Mt. Washington/Pairpoint Co., with this definite shape and, in Lechner III, pg. 117-3, shows a shaker with the same Palmer Cox Brownies decoration as above (and others). It thus seems very likely that this shaker was made by Mt. Washington/Pairpoint Co.
